A good 6 Years

A few months after Daisy was adopted, I was born along with my 5 siblings. Their names were Cass, Reno, Maisy, Juju and Jake. I'm sure were were a handful both for poor Daisy and our human parents.

Life went on. We were a pack and a family. Because of our living arrangements, we learned early on how to get along with other dogs. We ate together, slept together and played together.

When we were young, we chased the cats together. We quickly learned the cats were part of the family. We were told the kitties shouldn't be tormented. If we were slow learners, the cats would reinforce the message with a bop to our noses!

All in all, the first 6 and a half years of my life were paradise. I couldn't imagine a better way to live. Unfortunately, one never knows what lies around the bend. Tragedy struck our happy family. Our humans died.

We were heartbroken. We were also homeless.

P.S. That picture of me looking happy and frisky was taken earlier this week, so don't worry too much about what happens next...

I'm sorry to hear that your humans died and left you homeless. I'm sure someone with your credentials will find new humans to wait on you hand and foot again.
